I have quite  a few religious books , by  different authors, no use for keeping them ,clearing out stuff, don't know what to do with them, hate to throw away.

When you lose some one you L~O~V~E, that Memory of them, becomes a TREASURE.

There may be some churches or religious organizations that may be interested in the books. Also, nonprofit organizations such as the Salvation Army accept book donations.

Donate them.  We're always getting postcards in the mail from organizations looking for donations.  They accept books and will come pick them up.

Take them to Goodwill. Or to a senior care center. Or to a hospital. Many hospitals have a rack of books offered free to whoever wants them.

My library has a donation bin right on site.  You may want to drop by your local one or stop in.  They usually take them for their book sales.

Ask your library if they'd want them. Our library has a little table of books for patrons to buy. They keep it just inside the door so you can browse through them before or after your visit.

Or ask Goodwill if they'd want them.

We took many books, etc. mainly religious to a large used bookstore locally and “donated” them as well as old yearbooks. These belonged to my parents.

Churches do have libraries, libraries have book sales.  There may be senior centers, or shelters for people, who would appreciate these books.

Libraries will always take donations of books as long as they aren't dirty books. If they can't use them they sell them cheap.

I'd check with any local prisions or half way houses, women's resource centers, or the Salvation Army will take them and use or resell them.

Lots of people can benefit from used books in many ways.
