Apparently they are the latest trend ad execs seems to think inspire wisdom. They are omni presnt on television now. Univsersities have used the owl motif in various societies like Phi Beta Kappa, to depict wisdom for decades and decades.

Owls are not only in advertising, there is a tiny owl on the front of the one dollar bill.

(Upper right hand corner, sitting on the frame around the one.)

I thought you were going to say what's with all the owls in home decor lately. I noticed it at the mall the other day, and today I ran in a dollar store to get a gift bag and they were there, too.

There is a book w/the title "I Heard the Owl Call my Name". It was written by a pastor that served w/an Indian (American) group. Anyway there was a superstition that when you hear the owl you will soon die. It is a great book.

I love owls I have jewelry that I wear often .. thanks for posting that picture of what looks like a baby owl. Are they that friendly? They are adorable .

I couldn't name a single one...and I love owls...we have a couple in our backyard trees. I hear them "talking" to each other at night. One night, my dog and I went back to see what the noises were..shone a flashlight into the trees, saw big eyes looking back, then noticed the size of the talons. I looked at the dog ( husky), dog looked at me, and I said to her "I think we'll go inside now. That looks like it could carry YOU off"...she agreed...🤣🤣🤣

Lol! Same thing happened to me with my dogs and a mama raccoon and her babies! That mama was as big as my shetlands. Once I saw her and those babies, we all said "I ain't no fool" and ran back inside.
