Not an argument or anything "heavy" but things like the dog having an accident on your new carpet, the hot water goes cold in the shower, dinner burns, flat tire, etc.
@MyGirlsMom This WOULD be heavy if it was all in one day! LOL

@HappyDaze There's nothing like a Coke. Nothing.

@HappyDaze try the edibles or the oil. Much less harsh but take very little at a time LOL (takes about an hour to feel anything LOL)

A good workout always does it for me.
Mostly my dance class does!
Sometimes a glass of wine and watching a good movie.
Sometimes my headphones and my hula hoop.

I'm an organist, so when I'm stressed, I sit down at my Hammond and play for 15 minutes or more. One of my favorites to play is "As Time Goes By". It does the trick every time!

The internet. (Sometimes not such a good thing. ::shrug:: )
Stretching.
Guided meditations or sleep music on YouTube.
Walking.
Lighting a fire in my little fire pit and enjoying the peacefulness of clearing my mind and watching the flames.
My percussive massager on my shoulders and back.
I have an accupressure mat and pillow I bought very inexpensively secondhand. I found the set for only $4, even though this particular brand is much, much more expensive than that new (about $100 for the set). It looks like some sort of torture device, but it really helps with my tense muscles and body pain. If it ever wears out, I will consider paying the extra money to get a new set (if I can afford it at that time), because it does help me. (There are other less expensive brands too.)
I have some great meditation apps on my phone that I really like. I don't normally use them for the "instant" stress relief, but they're definitely helpful for stress relief and prevention.
I love that you use a fire pit! I think those are fantastic and if I didn't live in an apartment, I'd love to have one of those.

I go for a drive. The natural beauty that abounds in my area always settles my nerves and brings my perspective back. ![]()

Getting a massage is always great, but it can't be an instant thing cause I have to make an appointment with my massage guy!
