I know we all see mistakes in grammar in articles we read. But I can't believe some of the things I read from paid "journalists." I guess some really don't care at all - which is sad.

Here's the headline:  

Princess Eugenie Steps Out for the First Time Since Giving Birth on the Red Carpet with Sister Princess Beatrice

@beach-mom I completely agree--it's ridiculous!  

This is the headline from a local news story in my area:

"Vehicle Wanted for Questioning in Homicide Investigation"...What? The article went on to state that "the vehicle AND the occupant are wanted for questioning"--yeah, that clears things up!

(Yeah, I also got the "first" gramatical boo boo...)

@beach-mom When I see stuff like that I figure the writer doesn't know a thing about sentence structure or word usage.

Imagine giving birth on a red carpet LOL.

 Does anyone know if the journalist who wrote the article also wrote the headline, or is someone else charged with writing it so that the words fit the available space?
