I think the sets look fine. And that they are a work in progress.

There is a hollow or echo in the studio, I noticed that immediately.

I agree completely with the OP. When I saw Carolyn the morning of the 26th I thought maybe there was a flood or accident on the real set and they moved her into something temporary and unfinished.

Considering they've been The Christmas Network since about July, pushing Christmas nonstop night and day, they really banished virtually every hint of the season to the storeroom much quicker than I've ever seen. (I admit that I did see Albany on a set that had some evergreenery in the background...maybe an homage to winter). Even local news keeps the poinsettas on the set until New Year's.

The soap operas keep the decorations up till after New Years!!

The empty hollow sound is awful, like air swooshing through a tunnel.
