I am getting ready to go to Tuesday evening Mass and afterwards I'm picking up fajita tacos with guacamole and homemade tortilla chips as tomorrow is Ash Wednesday and no meat and it always happens I'll be craving it since I can't have it but not tomorrow since I'll be having it tonight. Then watching TV, if nothing good I have lots of movies recorded.

UPDATE: My son just received the call he was waiting for...he has the job near us and they all (grandchildren, too) will be moving to NC! Yay!!! 👏🏼🌈🎉🎈🎊💕. My son will begin working on April 3rd and live us with commuting until the end of the school year. So excited!!

Just found out tonight that our soon-to-be 19 year old niece is pregnant..living with her boyfriend of 6 months..her Mom & 2 other female family members are happy with the news..we aren't thrilled to hear, going to have to really hope & pray for guidance with this..neither of them are in a stable work situation..& I envision the family supporting them in the coming months, forever actually, as my family meets the definition of "enablers". My husband & I were young when we started our family, but had careers on tap, that we eventually retired from..

i just hate to see history repeating itself with this young, immature couple..one example made to my sis, the future gr-grandmother was "I will probably have to breast feed, when we found out how much formula costs"

Guess I just need some time for it all to sink in..guess this topic isn't too interesting, but had to vent, I guess...

Hang in there @Evie2004. Things have a way of working themselves out. I know it's tough not to be able to control a situation. Kids need to learn by their own mistakes and sometimes it works out for them and not a mistake afterall. All we can do is be there in case they need us, right?

Thanks for the thought..she knows we will be there for her..just hate to see them starting out like this..hopefully it will all work out for them..
