Re: What makes you feel "pampered"?

When it is a cool , rainy, dreary day outside and I am all cozy in my nice comfortable home and have no reason to have to go out. I will usually choose to spend a day like this in my sewing room.

Re: What makes you feel "pampered"?

Not having to wake to an alarm--EVER again.

I don't even make early flights for travel.  Why ruin the start to a vacation with an early wake up?

Some people aren't bothered at all by being woken up by an alarm.  I've hated it since 1st grade!

I love just being able to wake up when ever I want to.  No kidding, I wake up smiling.

Re: What makes you feel "pampered"?

Okay, this is going to sound silly, but I've rarely been pampered, so the little things mean a lot -

DH sets up the coffee pot in the evening. When I get up at 4:30 am and the coffee is waiting for me I feel like the luckiest woman in the world.

Similarly, when I make a meal in my crockpot and come home to a cooked meal after a long day, I feel like I have a personal chef, lol.  Heck, DH always said I was a cheap date!

Re: What makes you feel "pampered"?

A day of beauty makes me feel pampered.  A day when I get a mani-pedi and a facial and my hair trimmed, colored and blown out straight.  After that I generally stop at Sephora and pick up a few goodies.  A day like that is the ultimate in pampering for me.

After 40+ years of rising to the alarm's call, I agree with this post.

I can not remember being pampered...the closest thing to being pampered is a cup of coffee and sitting on the porch...

Re: What makes you feel "pampered"?

A good night's sleep is a luxury I appreciate!

For a more conventional treat, I had a wonderful business trip to Santa Fe last August, and it really made me feel pampered to take a green tea bath in my fancy room without interruption (my cats dive-bomb, or try to, when I am in the tub at home).
