I dont think anyone here, at least not me anyway, wants to see anyone fired....Just like ANY job there's an evaluation process on how one can improve their job performance....and Id like to see a Manager or Show Producer go over some of the viewer comments and give the hosts some tips....thats all I ask....they can at least try some of the suggestions! And QVC may be surprised to also see that sales have increased as well.....And QVC's current financial reports do reflect revenue and sales are down!

I don't think they are doing anything about hosts. Nothing has changed. Posters here have said everything, mostly nasty, nothing adult worthy and helpful about Jane. They complain about almost all hosts. There's no way they are reading here. I haven't seen anything change in a long time. Those are my opinions.

Honestly, why all this focus on the hosts?? What are they selling? That's my only interest.

Just turning the channel and just not watching them is not going to help improve QVC's bottom line....there must be a problem as the same complaints keep coming up
And Im talking about constructive feedback (like not talking so fast, more product info rather than silliness or numerous family stories, give inseam measurements, don't interrupt the vendors when they are giving important details, let the models model not the hosts....If the Producer asks a hosts to give a companion item number that shouldnt be a problem for host---no need to whine about it on air SHEEHS! etc etc...) Sales aren't going in the right direction quarter after quarter....QVC needs to try something to improve sales...and having people tune out isnt a solution...

That's the problem today....everyone is angry. Host behavior isn't even on my radar as dislikes or something that angers me. When I get angry, I think of the suffering citizens of the Ukraine; they look "put together" after spending months underground & manage a smile. I'd never want an employee fired after 35 years and of a certain age unless the person can not perform. The hosts in disfavor are probably doing just fine & their sales are probably good.

@Spurt , It's a fine line. My issue with one of the hosts I don't care for is rude and juvenile behavior to the extent that I couldn't believe she still had her job . She is very popular with a portion of posters here , it amazes me.

The problem is that is not what many of the hosts are doing. And that's what a lot of us have been complaining about.
You both hit the nail on the head....WE AREN'T GETTING PRODUCT INFO thats the problem, we dont tune in to see a particular hosts, we dont watch particular hosts because they put Themselves in the spotlight and we arent getting the important product information! Many of us don't tune in QVC to see and hear "days of the lives of the hosts"......
And I think what the Execs are looking at is expanding their demographic and certain hosts will bring in that demograpihic element by portraying a certain personna and acting more like a social media "influencer" and that will bring in new customers, but thats not happening and all they are doing is losing a portion of their audience instead....

My simple solution was to discontinue watching. When the hosts became (for the most part) hard sell, I stopped watching. Years ago, they approached their jobs professionally and the emphasis was on the products not them. When I am channel surfing and briefly glimpse at the antics used to sell their merchandise, usually one of them is trying to out-talk the other or the vendor. Instant channel changer.
Last time I tuned in, Jane was selling a pair of Carol Hochman nightgowns. She claimed you could wear them as outerwear. I own those gowns and even around the house I put on a robe with them. I realized after that presentation, my decision to refrain from watching QVC has been a good one for me.😳
