I wonder if it has anything to do with HSN moving in?   Maybe QVC is trying to reduce overall inventory so they can reorganize.  Just guessing.

Ever since Christmas, the Q has been surprisingly boring and expensive.  What is with all the generalized program names -- so general that they can include items from many different catagories.  What happened to specific shows about a specific brand??

It's like they want people to tune in and out to see wth is being shown.  So boring, I don't tune in nearly as often as before.  Never did buy really, just enjoyed watching a specific brand here and there.  Not now.

Too boring and too expensive.

So you've never truly purchased from QVC?

Sounds like you may have watched for anything other than buying, maybe entertainment?

That watching / entertainment ship has sailed for me for the most part as I do want to purchase however product details are lacking and antics abound.

I'll give QVC some credit. They have been introducing some new products and some new lines. That's very refreshing.

I wish it was more. Lots more. I wish all the products were given their pertinent information within a few minutes, then go on to the next. No need to drone on and on, no need for frivolity and antics.

I agree. I buy very little from QVC now. Clothes look like they have been around the block several time. The shoes too. Combined with shipping costs, difficultly of returns, and high prices, my shopping dollars are better spent elsewhere.

Agree with OP. Have thought the same thing. The channel has become gourmet food shows, Kim Gravel, Philosophy & the goat guys. So repetitive & boring. Not enough new.

When they had the new Pom purses, they sold out. Viewers want new & exciting.

I tuned in for a Belle show and switched the channel when I saw the maxi dress with the shrug -- very dated.  It

And the flip side is, people like me, are incredibly sick of Shark one hr presentations or Vitamix, or any of the other ones. Many people have asked for more variety; very specifically to the TSV's, and asked for less one hr focussed shows because they are so repetitive. Just giving the other perspective.

To be clear, I wasn't talking about a 1 hour presentation 10 times a day about one single product - TSV.  I hate that.  I'm talking about clothing shows, jewelry shows, makeup shows.  You don't see one thing over and over, but the show is about a particular line of product.  So I think you and I are really on the same page, lol.

wasnt there just an all day beauty event and an all day jewelry event within the past week or two? there were definitely particular lines of products show then.

just looking at the past week and the week to come.....isaac shows, philosophy, sport savvy, diamonique, clarks, sunday riley, belle, breezies, aveeda, susan graver, women with control, laura geller, logo, laura mercier, serta, american west, home reflections, peace/love/world, evelyn and bobbie, women with control, tatcha, skechers, david markstein, homeworx, lawrence zarian, and so many more. that sounds like a lot of single shows to me.

Glad you enjoyed a laugh but I couldn't remember the name of their products. Still can't!
