On my way to my pharmacy yesterday, I stopped at Walgreens to pick up some "Proxy" brushes. I got 3 pkgs. for $4.59 each.

Then, I went next door to Publix and saw the same exact ones for $2.49. I bought those and came home for my husband to unload the trunk and then I wanted to make sure I didn't make a mistake. We compared the receipts and sure enough - Walgreens was going back.

I brought them back, got about $15 back and I'm a happy camper.

This is not the first time Walgreens has been way overpriced. They did this also when Aleve first came out years ago. I ran to get it (thinking it was a magic cure for headaches) and it was $11 something - then I see it in Publix for less than half the price.

If I hadn't been walking down that aisle in Publix, I never would have noticed the price...
