Visited the S.C. Aquarium on Charleston Harbor, in Charleston today. What a great facility. They covered wildlife and waterlife from the mountains to the shore. They have an albino alligator, which was amazing. There is really a lot of detail in the gator's "armor" that you can't see in the darker colored ones. They had two otters that really gave us quite a show. Had a hard time breaking away from them. There is a touch tank for anyone who cares to do so......stingrays, horseshoe crabs, hermit crabs. Of course, there is a gift shop and small cafe. We got a drink and snack and sat outside overlooking the harbor. We had a magnificent view of the USS Yorktown docked at Patriot's Point and of Fort Sumpter in the distance. If you're ever in Charleston, SC, check it out. {#emotions_dlg.thumbup}
