Love people so much that you will do all that you can to lessen their
human sorrows. Lord, You have shown Your love for me. May I
now radiate Your presence to others.

"Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path." ~Psalm
119:105
M E D I T A T I O N F O R T H E D A Y
In all of us there is an inner consciousness that tells of God, an
inner voice that speaks to our hearts. It is a voice that speaks to us
intimately, personally, in a time of quiet mediation. It is like a
lamp unto our feet and a light unto our path. We can reach out into the
darkness and figuratively touch the hand of God. Deep down inside
each of us is the fundamental idea of God. We can find this great reality
deep down within us. And as we find it, it can change our whole
attitude toward life.
P R A Y E R F O R T H E D A Y
I pray that I may follow the leading of the inner voice. I pray that
I may not turn a deaf ear to the urging of my conscience.
Peace of Jesus to you all! Hope you all had a great Saturday today! We kind of celebrated my birthday tonight - it'll be too busy on Holy Thursday as we are leaving then, so with Lori tonight we went to our favorite restaurant and then here and played some games. It was nice. This was a big blessing because Linus worked over 9 hours, and he was tired, but not too bad that he couldn't go out and enjoy the evening too, it was because of your prayers for him! That's no doubt about that. His feet didn't hurt that bad, and that's a miracle for being on his feet for that long. Tomorrow he has off, then Mon. Tue. and Wed. he works six hours, and after that is his vacation for 10 days.. He's staying in Texas for 10 days.
Weather here has gotten cold again. No storms, but freezing temps. This is forcasted all weekend.
Palm Sunday
Palm Sunday, in Christianity, is the Sunday before Easter.
It is the first day of the Holy Week. Palm Sunday celebrates
the story of Jesus' triumphal entry into Jerusalem,
where people spread palm leaves and clothing before Him.
Please, take a few moments to picture in your mind
Jesus riding into Jerusalem on a donkey,
and people welcoming him with Palm leaves.
Over the next few days Jesus would be crucified
and then rise from the dead.
GOD CALLED YOU...
There are many reasons why God shouldn't have
called you.
But don't worry. You're in good company.
Moses stuttered.
David's armor didn't fit.
John Mark was rejected by Paul.
Timothy had ulcers.
Hosea's wife was a prostitute.
Amos' only training was in the school of fig-tree pruning.
Jacob was a liar.
David had an affair.
Solomon was too rich.
Jesus was too poor.
Abraham was too old.
David was too young.
Peter was afraid of death.
Lazarus was dead.
John was self-righteous.
Naomi was a widow.
Paul was a murderer.
So was Moses.
Jonah ran from God.
Miriam was a gossip.
Gideon and Thomas both doubted.
Jeremiah was a bullfrog (just kidding); he was depressed and suicidal.
Elijah was burned out.
John the Baptist was a loudmouth.
Martha was a worry-wart.
Mary may have been lazy.
Samson had long hair.
Noah got drunk.
Did I mention that Moses had a short fuse?
So did Peter, Paul -well, lots of folks did.
But God doesn't require a job interview.
He doesn't hire and fire like most bosses, because He's more our Dad than our
Boss.
He doesn't look at financial gain or loss.
He's not prejudiced or partial, not judging, grudging, sassy, or brassy, not
deaf to our cry, not blind to our need.
As much as we try, God's gifts are free.
We could do wonderful things for wonderful people and still not be. . .
Wonderful.
Satan says, "You're not worthy." Jesus says, "So what? I AM."
Satan looks back and sees our mistakes. God looks back and sees the cross.
He doesn't calculate what you did in '98. It's not even on the record.
Sure, there are lots of reasons why God shouldn't have called us. But if we
are magically in love with Him, if we hunger for Him more than our next
breath, He'll use us in spite of who we are, where we've been, or what we look
like I pray that as Christians, we will step out of our limitations into the
illimitable nature of who God is.
Then our passion for God and our passion to communicate to Him will make
mince-meat of our limitations.

I asked God to take away my pain. God said, No, It is not for me to take away, but for you to give it up.
I asked God to make my handicapped child whole. God said, No, Her spirit was whole, her body was only temporary.
I asked God to grant me patience. God said No, Patience is a by-product of tribulations, it isn' t granted, it is earned.
I asked God to give me happiness. God said, No, I give you blessings, Happiness is up to you.
I asked God to spare me pain. God said, No, Suffering draws you apart from worldly cares and brings you closer to me.
I asked God to make my spirit grow. God said, No, You must grow on your own, but I will prune you to make you fruitful.
I asked for all things that I might enjoy life. God said, No, I would give you life so that you may enjoy all things.
I ask God to help me LOVE others, as much as he loves me. God said... Ahh, finally you have the idea.
May you have a blessed Palm Sunday!
Your Word, My Heart
Dear God,
I'll hide Your Word within my heart
To call upon each day
To calm me when the trials appear,
Or trouble comes my way.
I'll remember how You promised me
That all things work for good
I'll be steadfast in my prayers
And have faith, the way I should.
My very life is in Your hands,
My heart is Yours to mold
Each part of me belongs to You,
(A story to unfold).
Forgive me when I fail to live
The way You want me to
Restore in me, undying faith
And make me more like You.
Amen.

MY BUSINESS LOSS
By Bo Sanchez
April 16, 2011
Many years ago, I lost a lot of money in a businesses venture.
It was a big loss for me. At that time, I lost almost my entire net
worth.
I was tempted to mope, to sulk, to carry a heavy burden for a long
time.
Actually, I allowed myself to grieve for awhile—which was very
healthy.
But I decided not to grieve for too long, or I would be stuck forever.
After some time, I declared, "God has something better for me."
I chose to smile. I chose to look at the brighter side. I chose to
believe that better businesses would come my way. In fact, I began
declaring the unbelievable. I said, "I'll earn ten times what I lost!"
Later that week, a friend asked me, "Is it true that you lost a lot of
money in that business?"
I said, "Yes, I did."
"It happens to you too, huh? And I thought people like you are exempt
from these things. So why are you smiling?"
"Because I believe God is redirecting me to a better business. And I
know that I'll earn ten times what I lost."
It was a big claim and some friends couldn't understand why I was so
relaxed.
But a few years later, what I declared happened.
I started new businesses and I began to earn ten times what I lost.
What I lost—my savings for years—I earned in a few months. Today, my
new businesses are multiplying. I ask myself sometimes, "What if I
didn't fail in that business? I would still be stuck in that business!
I wouldn't have the new business that I have now."
And imagine if kept moping and sulking—would I have seen the new
opportunities around me? Imagine if I kept mourning my loss—would I
have had the energy to venture into something new?
Friend, don't focus at the problems in your life.
Don't focus on what you loss.
Instead, focus on two things: look at what you still have and look at
the new things that God will give you.
And be grateful.
Closing prayer:
Daily Prayer
Lord, our God, may your Son reign in our minds
so that we may think as He would have us think.
May He rule our hearts
so that we may love as He would have us love.
May He direct our whole behaviour
that it may be more like His.
Lord, for what we have, we are so grateful.
Help us especially to be sensitive and generous towards
others.
And finally, may we really want your Kingdom to come.
Amen.
