Maybe Britanny can explain the rules to you in a manner you can understand.
Don't talk to her in a condescening manner. You know she understands what Britanny posted but it makes no sense when one is open for debate and the other is not. This board has been about lively debate and I have no problem blocking someone who is completely out of control but this isn't the case here. I mean perhaps you are that obtuse and will only understand when the same thing happens to a thread you wish to offer a differing opinion on and aren't allowed yet you also aren't allowed to open one of your own because that one is completely open for debate.

Your post makes no sense. I'm done with you.

Apparently so Irsh. *Shrugs*

Weren't you saying farewell just a few days ago? Nice to see you back after your brief trip. ![]()

QVC boards. Their rules, their decisions. Everyone has had their posts removed, threads closed.
It is quite clear. On that we can agree.

Just to be clear that we are talking about the same thing are you talking about an opinion thread or a celebratory thread?
If it is a celebratory thread then there should be no debate. If it is a debate thread then opposing opinions should be expected.

Exactly.
From early this morning the mods have cautioned to keep this thread celebratory. It's veered off a couple of times, but managed to get back on track.
It's not an opinion thread. It's not a debate thread. It's not "new rules". It's what the mods have requested on THIS thread.
Please, croemer or irsh. Start a thread for debate purposes here in this forum. I'm sure there are people who would like to post on the subject.

I don't happen to agree with Croemer on THIS issue. That doesn't mean that I don't believe that she shouldn't have the right to give HER opinion. Democracy. Nope.

yes, I had a thread removed this morning that was civil. I've had posts removed too. I am not sure why people think it is only "one" side. Perhaps they only see what they wish to.

Marp wrote:This has become more than ridiculous. If someone wants to start a thread celebrating defeat do it but please don't keep trying to turn this thread celebrating a win into a debate. If you want to debate the ruling then start a debate thread and debate.
Marp, it's odd... one was started several minutes ago, but only 4 replies. I guess no one is disappointed any more?

@MyGirlsMom wrote:"funny thing" about this entire situation Irshgirl..I came back to QVC because I was allowed to. New board, new rules, interaction with the mods, etc. If posts or threads were deleted, we were given an explanation for it. Today, a thread was started to celebrate a court decision. Psts which were hateful, religious, political or speaking of another board were removed. Brittany gave the most detailed explanation as to what QVC wanted as far as the thread was concerned. So, it's their board, their rules and what was requested. For those who want a debate, it was asked NOT TO be here...why not another thread? It's merely a suggestion, not a demand.
I will state this once more. I have no problem with you or anyone else being back. I don't mind the moderation to a point. What I do have a problem with it is when one opinion is allowed to be discussed or even debated in a civil manner but the other is not. If there was a thead you objected to but you were stating your opinions in a civil manner, I would NOT want a moderator deleting your post becasue it wasn't happy happy joy joy. Then if you then decided to start another thread stating your different opinion and people would then be allowed to debate you there I would find that unfair. I would speak up. No one here will always fall on the side of having a popular opinion and I wouldn't want your opinion hushed even if I hated it.
