What the SCOTUS ruled on today is one of the last Civil Rights issues in this country-- all people should be allowed to marry who they want w/o any state government restrictions. I am glad that SCOTUS came out for everyone's happiness to be free to marry anyone they want.

As a banned poster on the old boards, you would know that. Right? Ironing.

"funny thing" about this entire situation Irshgirl..I came back to QVC because I was allowed to.  New board, new rules, interaction with the mods, etc.  If posts or threads were deleted, we were given an explanation for it.  Today, a thread was started to celebrate a court decision.  Psts which were hateful, religious, political or speaking of another board were removed.  Brittany gave the most detailed explanation as to what QVC wanted as far as the thread was concerned.  So, it's their board, their rules and what was requested. For those who want a debate, it was asked NOT TO be here...why not another thread?  It's merely a suggestion, not a demand.

But we can no longer debate, it appears on one opinion is the goal now and we must stay on point and agree with the O/P? I believe that is what I am reading.

Lila Belle is not the one being obtuse.  It is very clear what is going on here.

QVC boards.  Their rules, their decisions.  Everyone has had their posts removed, threads closed.

This post has been removed by QVC because it contains remarks that can be construed as incendiary.

I see what was posted MGM, it is just absolutely so unfair and I am in agreement with this decision. She was told start another thread because it isn't allowed here yet when she claims she will start another thread she is told that will be open for debate. So one is open for debate, but one absolutely is not. If you do not see a problem with this perhaps you will on a different thread where the same thing happens but you are on the differing side. Yes, I get their board their rules, that is completely fine but at least distribute the rules evenly. You cannot allow debates on one and not on another. Well I suppose you can in a tyrannical sort of way but reasonable adults will eventually get bored of not being allowed to express their opinions in a reasonable manner.

Irsh, you have a mod problem. perhaps you should email them instead of harassing those who are following the board standards and guidelines for this thread.

Harassing? Pointing out the inequity here is absolutely not harassing. YOu would be saying the same thing if tables were turned and to be honest, even if I didn't happen to agree with your post I would feel the same way if the same thing happened to you.

This has become more than ridiculous.  If someone wants to start a thread celebrating defeat do it but please don't keep trying to turn this thread celebrating a win into a debate.   If you want to debate the ruling then start a debate thread and debate.
