Some of you may wind up rethinking issues if your state like mine basically legalized marijuana.  Stores selling it are almost on every corner now.

They are being robbed daily, people are being shot in the robberies, and growers are legally growing weed but also illegally shipping it out of state on the black market and the authorities are not able to shut that down yet.

Also, drug cartels and the violence and human trafficking that comes with them are setting up shop the state.  This is going to change a lot of things around here.  And endanger a lot more people.

And it's probably coming to your state too if similar laws are enacted.

I live .5 miles from one. No issues here except one incident across the state where thieves tried to rob one at 4am.  They all have armed guards.during operating hours, not sure about when they're closed.

They are built like Ft. Knox.  If managed correctly, dispensaries aren't a problem.

And if we actually enforced the laws, c rime would be much less of a problem all around.

@Isobel Archer  Here you go again-always twisting other ppl's word.  I did NOT say the laws need to be enforced. I said dispensaries need to be MANAGED properly. Two entirely different things.

@decaf, it's way to inject a political view, again.

I didn't realize it was poliitical to enforce the law.  And apparently it's not political to endorse marijuana dispensaries with armed guards.  Curious what's political and what isn't.  Could it possibly be that the term is simply used to bash and silence?

Doubtful boys this young would be involved with a gang especially in the area where they live. Putting the boys in foster care is a heinous idea that would be worse that putting them in prison. There is a good chance the boys didn't even know they were shooting in the direction of a person. The parents should pay consequences for keeping a firearm accessible to a child. They must feel terrible that they unwittingly played a part in this tragic accident. I have to wonder how this will effect these two young boys as time passes.

@Frontporchgal I'm much concerned about the elder widowed woman.  The young men have a good chance of living a decent, law abiding lifestyle.  This woman lost her husband.
