I work in a school as a monitor. I started in January so I wasn't there for Christmas. Well I just found out the school monitors exchange gifts. There are 16 ladies to buy for, I don't have much time to buy anything, buying 16 gifts will be pricey. Any ideas of what I can get for $10 and under?

Personally I would opt out. NO WAY would I be forced to buy gifts for 16 co-workers. There's no law that says you have to participate. I never participated in Secret Santa stuff at work.

@qbetzforreal She's supposed to buy 16 candles? I think having to buy for 16 co-workers is insane.

No drawing a name to make a singular exchange?  16 gift buying is a lot!  Maybe small bags of Lindt or Ghiardelli chocolates?  A box of Celestial tea, the boxes are festive.  Scratch off tickets.  Costco or Sam's Club may have something suitable in bulk.  Christmas kitchen towels, TJMaxx has some nice ones.   Small plants from the grocery store with festive bow added.  Holiday notepads everyone needs scratch paper.

@Love my grandkidsI suggested candles because Walmart has some very inexpensive ones as does Big Lots.

It was a suggestion.  Good grief.  Someone else may have another suggestion.

I was told you could get what you want ( gifts or cookies, candy)I don't want to be the only one not exchanging gifts. I also think a Secret Santa is a good idea. I will go to Bath & Bodywork's tomorrow after work to see if I can get something. I was thinking about a small sanitizer and a holder.

Are you sure you have to buy 16 gifts? That seems like a big expense for co-workers.
