Re: What QVC show are you looking forward to seeing?

Nothing.  Boring, overpriced items with mostly obnoxious hosts.  Check items online but rarely watch for more than a minute or 2.

@BalletBabe   Never, ever have I gotten an Amazon order in one day.  You must be on the right route.

@Kachina624  I do a lot.  Most of the time it is 2 days.  That beats QVC 10 days or more.  LOL  The things I have had to wait for are not coming from Amazon warehouse.  I haven't seen slow down in my deliveries and I have been with them for 5 years as a Prime member.

I'm hoping for a set of SIX snips with nose hair trimmers and toenail clipper attachments....so you can do everything sharp at once...

What happened to the Dad Gum hokey guy with the 400 gallons of oil to dip a turkey into? I guess air fryers put him out to pasture...

I like ITKWD for a reason not yet mentioned....now I watch for when David V is listening to the vendors spiel .....his  face looks like he's either bored to death, mildly annoyed, or just plain thinking "When will this end?!?!?!"

I THOUGHT I actually detected simmering rage just under the surface when Chris Pryme corrected David about the size of some L+L containers she was hawking....HE said they were half cup, she corrected him to 1.5 cups, and he spent five minutes checking and rechecking his card when he thought no one was looking. And to me he looked PO'd that she corrected him....

Anyway...BOW RING is the order of the day...That, and almost everything costs about 50 bucks now with the shipping and handling and tax, and they urge you to buy TWO of everything.

O yes...more tired Tempations...can't forget that.....

Today's Samsung TSV is ridiculous. In my opinion, spending that kind of money on a TV is like buying a gold plated garbage can and staring into it...what with the tripe that's on TV today....TV's are disposable like toasters today...buy a 1080P one and when it dies, buy a new one. It WON"T die. Just keeps showing the same glop.

There are NO shows I'm looking forward to. QVC is staler than last weeks leftover spaghetti. (... in the back of the fridge,in that Lock +Lock nestable decorated container that doubles as a cake plate if you turn it upside down)..

Live show? Yawn. An audience full of mostly, (sadly) obese people cheering at the happy dance. O boy.

Will Steve be back with David? I missed him today...sitting in the corner, grinning, or acting like he never ate an orange before......

Re: What QVC show are you looking forward to seeing?

I miss the shows of yesteryear with the wonderful Annette Funicello, Jeanne Bice, Nolan Miller and Joan Rivers (rest in peace to them all).

In the early 2000's, I enjoyed Collector's Day!  My very first QVC purchase was an Annette Funicello angel tree topper.  This was a welcomed departure from the ordinary.  I know that people don't collect those items as they once did, but it was still fun to watch (especially "The Head Bean" Gary Lowenthal from Boyd's Bears).

I hardly watch now, but I would have to agree that the Valerie Parr Hill shows are my favorite ones to watch nowadays.

I'm not short...I'm fun size!

The spring gardening and indoor/outdoor decor shows. I'm a warm weather gal; winter depresses me.

I used to watch a lot of Q but not anymore. They show the same dozen products, or variations of, over and over and over. Everything I thought I'd like was cheaper elsewhere.

The last few years, I've watched only some of the 2 annual gold days. Reports are that Q cancelled the January gold day so I'll stick to periodically looking at the online schedule. I'm not looking forward to any particular shows.

[ Edited ]

"The Lume Hour" with the Honey Hostess, telling us how well it works on smelly ballet bodies after a command performance...or at the College Dorm where evidently there are no showers....

With demos and videos of course!!!

Hope they don't run it at lunch time!!!!

@qualitygal

Never look at their schedule, and the only time I see it on our TV, is when my wife is watching a DVR'd show of hers.

My small number of interests got to be very rare, so I quit looking at our Dish Network Grid on QVC,  to see what they had scheduled. Now it is strictly HSN, and I DVR only topics of my interest. Jewelry or items one adorns are not even on my list.

Just had to say something. =^..^=

Absolutely none.  I view products online to avoid sales pitches and the very annoying nonstop chatter of the hosts.
