In northern NJ, Bamberger' s. My grandmother would take me shopping for school clothes there, and then we always had a hamburger and Apple pie for lunch in their restaurant.

Epstein' s was another dept. Store I remember in NJ.

When I got older (17), my friends and i would drive to Rockaway Mall. One of our favorite stores was Hahne' s.

i shopped at Bambergers! Do you remember Alexander's?

Yes! Alexander's in the mall in Milford, CT.

I liked Jordan-Marsh and Filene's, too.

{#emotions_dlg.wub}There was a shoe store in L.A. called Mandel's, I was such a shoe addict during my school year's that my Grandmother opened an account for me there. Cutest shoes.

I grew up in NYC and there was a Grant's on 3rd Ave between 86 & 87 St. Anyone remember Florsheim Shoes, they were fabulous.
