@Spurt   I'm 100% with you!!! Fall/winter are my favorite seasons. I go out at 7:30 and do my food shopping, errands, etc. and am home by noon....

Our summers are too hot and humid here.  We are already in the high 90's here with 76% humidity and climbing.  Too hot to do much outside except go in the pool.

Being able to walk outside without being dressed like Nanook of the North.  Walking out to check on my flowers, herbs and tomatoes.  Being able to sit on my back porch, enjoy the breeze, listen to the birds and read a good book.........unless it's hot and humid, then I enjoy my A/C

Wait for fall. Our outdoor living is done in the fall and winter.

I love the ocean any time of year.  But I don't live near it.  So my favorite summer time thing close to home -- is going to the farmer's market.  I love walking around, getting local produce, etc.

@Spurt  I'm there with you... Seems my favorite summer 'passtime' is increasingly to wait for fall... I'm averse to the extreme heat and humidity, don't live near an ocean and a little of the pool goes a long way...
