As soon as I come home from being out, I take my clothes off and change into a robe, my Mom was same, she always said no need to keep clothes on in the house.

The pressure cooker. My mother had one of the old style pots that she became the master of . There were no frozen dinners or convenience meals at that time. She was a working Mom who wanted her family to have wholesome hot meals quickly. In 30 minutes we were sitting down at the table with steaming hot food  with easy one pot clean-up.

I remember my mother washing her hair in the kitchen sink.  She would do it when one of her friends was coming by to set her hair in pin curls.

I find Kleenex in all my pockets of everything I put on. I used to tease her about that and now it's me!
