Having seen death first hand, QVC, I can testify that what you posted is right on target for a lot of people; however some Christians just seem to pass over without any of these experiences.

Regardless, I definitely believe these sights are seen by a lot of dying people (who are about to cross over) but unfortunately an uncle had an opposite experience which was indeed scary and agreed with what scripture teaches as well.

Any experience that is of God has to align with scripture; many "miracles" that are supposedly experienced today do not and that's a real problem as we as Christians know there are two sources of miracles. So many people just believe what the world says and don't bother to search the scriptures for themselves.

What an opportunity and great ministry that you were able to work at Hospice, QVC. Having experienced their services firsthand it is a wonderful place to volunteer. God bless you! After I lost my husband ministering in nursing homes helped me to heal, actually benefited me more than them, I believe. We didn't know much about hospices in those days. (My granddaughter is preparing for a singing ministry for the sick and dying.)

I'm so happy when I read comments of people like you, QVC, who have assurance of their salvation through Christ Jesus , sharing their testimonies and am certainly looking forward to meeting all of you some day. ( Isn't it great that no one has deleted this post as of yet, all views are welcome).

Dear HiLo,

I am adoreqvc, but since I did not see anyone else with a QVC nic I believe your reply was directed at me, of which I truly thank you.

I am so sorry you lost your dear husband, and I can truly understand how ministering in nursing homes can become a very healing experience.

I feel very blessed to be able to volunteer when I can, and am so comforted in knowing I am helping other Christians fear death less, and welcome their new journey into God's Kingdom and everlasting life even more.

In other posts I also mentioned I volunteered in many nursing homes and visited so many who were unfortunately abandoned by their relatives and children, and were afraid of everything, especially dying all alone.

That was the biggest fear many had.To die all alone with no one there to hold their hand and be with them.

To be able to comfort them in any possible way is I feel truly a blessing, and I felt so blessed to be able to sit with them, talk, read to them, help them deal rationally with their fears, and just listen to them, because they have a lot to say.

For the most part their memories still served them well and their stories were very touching and educational.

I used to bring my radio and ear buds with me and turn to a radio station and play music on low volume.

Even those sitting in wheel chairs looking as though no recognition touches their soul, and never move but just sit and stare into space come back to life when I placed the ear buds in their ears. All of a sudden they smiled, thei moved their arms and feet to the beat of the music and they look as though they awoke from a long sleep.

I was told by the Administrator that music is a universal language and hearing it seems to awaken them.

I truly wish they could have played music on low through their speaker system, but that was not allowed. Perhaps if they can raise funds they can afford to purchase ipods or transistor radios with ear buds and place them on those who no longer communicate but sit and stare into space, because the absolute joy I watched them feel filled my heart with joy too, but when the music was taken away all movement ceased and they again stared into space. How sad!

It is like peering into a looking glass from the past, and viewing it in a kaleidoscope fashion when they begin to speak and their eyes light up, and they smile, or cry with such great emotion....there is nothing in life like caring and sharing and helping others whenever we can.

I believe deep in my heart that anyone who unfortunately dies alone and frightened, will awaken on the other side of infinity which continues, to experience many new wonderful after death experiences, regardless of their faith.

For us Christians that is in God's Heavenly Kingdom, and I thank you for all your kind words, your wonderful teachings which you also pass on to your family members, and your stories of faith and healing.

Many thanks for your wonderful blessings too, which I also send back to you with warm Christian unity and love.

Miracles happen all the time if only we truly open our eyes we will be blessed to see them.

God Bless you and yours HiLo, and take good care.

Hope to see you often on the QVC bb's, and it was a great pleasure cyber chatting with you today{#emotions_dlg.rolleyes}.

HiLo,

As for deletion of the post everyone dies sooner or later and that is inevitable and a given.

I do not believe this post will be deleted, if it is we all have our Faith to see us through, and have already shared the wonder of what we personally experienced while helping loved ones and others take their final breath and cross over to the other side of Earthly life.

Re: What Happens After Death ( Documentary ) video FYI

Hello again Adore:

I know I have seen a QVC Addiction post here, in fact I may have had a conversation with her in the past so I suppose that particular poster was on my mind at the time.

Being a born again Christian, I desire so much to spread the Word, what Christ Jesus has done for us and how freely He receives anyone who comes to Him in sincerity. Doesn't seem to be as easy to witness these days as it once was, however and the churches where I live are not preaching the good news where one can actually feel the presence of the Holy Spirit as I was used to. I remember when an evangelist was a true evangelist, with a real convicting message which produced real conversions. I believe the Word teaches that the churches are to minister to the needs of their fellow Christians and I wish more of this was done.

I personally like the expository teaching in worship services, instead of a topical presentation. In our area of Md. we have been particularly impressed with the local Calvary Chapel and the deep teaching of the Word. I have found that those in the South (Bible belt) still take church attendance very seriously although there have been many changes.

The reason I mentioned anything about being deleted is because there is some mention of personal faith here and some don't like that but personally I don't mind if someone has and posts a different belief than mine; I just don't like to see unkind comments made here.

Since Christ Jesus taught that He is the only way to God, that is what I must accept. I have had people tell me that we all worship the same God but I have to be true to scripture and hopefully can kindly tell them that scripture teaches very clearly there is only one God, the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Adore, I so enjoyed your comments about the effectiveness of such ministries that we have both been privileged to be part of. Residents of nursing facilities really do enjoy music, just dropping in and being there to hold a hand seems simple enough but is everything to these people. I remember when churches had nursing home ministries but not so much anymore. These days, I'm not able to do much in the way of ministry but I have found that just sending cards with notes can bring a smile to a face. Men who have lost their wives seem to have a particularly hard time.

Thanks again for sharing, Adore. In case you are interested, a group of us often have Biblical discussions on the Kindred Spirits site on this page. I doubt that I have any more to add to a discussion of after life experiences; my emphasis will always be on the ones before death as I move more and more towards that experience myself.

Blessings to you, dear.

How lovely to read your kind reply HiLo......Thank you so much.

Someday we may find ourselves in need of a kind soul and I hope we are deserving of such, but in the meantime we must stay true to scripture as that is clearly the way.

The world can be a cold place when one has no relatives or true friends surviving, but at least their faith is most constant and offers hope for so many of what is yet to come.

God Bless you dear HiLo, and lets hope the post remains and of course everyone is welcome to join in from any faith.

I shall stop into kindred spirits and have a chat and many thanks for mentioning it to me.

Blessings again to you HiLo, and I hope you have a lovely week{#emotions_dlg.rolleyes}.

Thank you for your very kind reply emmysmom.

I wish you could have also shared with us, but respect your decision not to.

I believe when death personally touches us and we suffer that deep profound soul wrenching and shattered heart pain while walking through life, during our Earthly grief journey(s), we all learn what compassion means, and then you cannot help but care.

For many helping others makes us feel more productive and compassionate.

Being with the terminally ill who are many times left all alone, and have no one who cares to come and visit them anymore is heartbreaking, as is not having any one left alive to care and visit them.

It is a time of soul searching grace, praying we can make a difference in someone's life at the end of their Earthly journey, and help them better understand when they take their last earthly breath and exhale, then pass through that invisible portal, they take another eternal life everlasting breath in a place beyond our wildest dreams or imagination....A place of extreme wonder, joy, beauty, beyond time as we comprehend time, and beyond Earthly suffering.

A holy divine realm where we meet our Heavenly Father, Our Savior Jesus Christ, The Bless-ed Virgin Mother, The Heavenly Saints, and The Heavenly Angels, and if we make it to that point, then we are graced to again see our departed loved ones.

For me there is no greater gift......and I shall always feel very blessed, and try my best to do whatever I can to make it easier for another human being while on Earth as they journey towards everlasting life.
