I always liked Simon on OC. I thought he appeared to have it together, and he wanted his wife to act a bit classier. I don't think Tamra is the greatest mom to be honest. I doubt she spends much time with them as she's so self absorbed. It's all about Tamra and now it's about Tamra and Eddie.

Simon was a good provider. She seemed to get everything she wanted while they were married, and it still was not enough. I don't think he tried to control her at all. He just didn't like that she was so trashy.

I doubt Tamra got any worse when they were married. I get the feeling Tamra was always trashy. Somehow that was okay enough when they were dating for Simon to ask Tamra to marry him and have children with her.

Isn't Simon shacked up with some chick young enough to be his daughter?

Simon knew what Tamra was like when he married her. Some men get off on controlling their wives, which is the feeling I got with them. He was making good money and Tamra overlooked a lot. Funny when he was home more and wasn't making as much money, they started having problems.

Their oldest daughter ASKED the court to be able to live with her father.

I don't blame her.

I think the show enabled Tamra to be more trashy. I don't think she was as trashy early on. Vicki enabled her too. Sure, it was up to her to become trashy, and she did it. Simon was classy.

Can't stand Vicki and that creepy guy she hooked up with after dumping Don. Think it's time she retires......her plastic surgery on her face is horrible. Don't like Tamara either. Think RHOC is my least fav of all the housewife shows.

i agree with you winamac.

she was probably a bit more "normal" at the beginning.....after all, wasnt she supposedly a real estate agent at one time?

i also think simon supported her son ryan quite a bit, even though he was always in trouble and/or lazy.
