I just discovered avocado toast! At Dunkin Donuts this week! I've been back twice so far.

DH will eat an entire huge bag of peanut M&Ms if I have them in the house. I buy him a small individual bag when I go to the grocery store and he is a happy camper. Portion control is not one of his attributes.

Nyakers Pepparkakor Gingersnap cookies....THE best gingersnaps I've ever had! They are available year-round, but I've decided they are a Christmas treat for me. Two or three with a cup of eggnog, and I'm in holiday heaven!

Chocolate Molten Lava Cake in City Hall Restaurant in NYC.  The restaurant closed in 2015, and the chef decided to open a liquor store in a mall instead.  Saddest thing ever!  I loved that restaurant!

 

Haven't found another Chocolate Molten Lava Cake that good since.

@NYCLatinaMe. I feel your pain!  I had a certain cake from a bakery in my home town for my birthday every year (I'd go home for my birthday)  for approximately 40 years. The bakery went out of business and my hometown newspaper ran an article saying the bakery was throwing out tons of cakes.  I was sorely tempted to drive the couple of hours back to my home town and go dumpster diving for one last one of those cakes. 🤣
