..you can always customize it to l'orange.
I don't think so MGM, that would be too much for even me.
Okay, I changed my mind.
all tubs, by code are required to have an overflow valve......so pay attention to it's placement so you know your water depth........also if you also plan it to be a tub/shower you need to work out how you're going to contain the water......slippers and claws require curtains whose support come down from the ceiling, that can get really crowded looking in a small/medium sized bath....also the valves for slippers and claws are very different from the normal out of the wall type......you'll end up having to pull a permit.....and you might want to look at the ones with the hand held shower head..also on the slipper and claws.....be sure and check length.....even if you have to measure your own length in a semi reclined position........the last thing you want to be is scrunched up in your "relaxing bath"...................raven

Unfortunately, I live in an apartment. But fortunately the kitchen is a good size, with hardly any cupboards.....so my friend gave me a 3 piece barrister antique bookcase where I store all my casserole containers, corning ware, and pots and pans.....It really displays them nicely. The I purchased an unfinished 3 shelf glass door piece (that eventually can be used in a bedroom for clothes if I ever move from here), and finished it myself. I store my every day dishes and glasses in that...... The stove and refrigerator are wh ite, the cupboards are a neutral color and sort of the finished I did on the storage piece. On that piece I have my microwave (off white) and a very pretty crystal lamp with a beautiful shade. On the barrister I have placed my butterfly canister set, along with a Pfaltzgraph(?) lamp with a red, green blue, and orange lampshade......There is a very good sized double window and on that I have a Waverly plaid and check valance in red, beige, and sort of olive green (plaid), and the check is in red and beige check......the lower curtain is sort of an ecru open work material that is done in squares. It makes for a very pretty window, and at night when the lamp is on, it really looks pretty. Also have an antique drop leaf table that I keep my coffee maker and toaster on. There is no dishwasher, which is fine with me.
The bathroom is sort of a peachy pink.....tub, toilet, tile on the walls, and the floor is the old kind of little tiles that are in different rectangular shapes......and the is a sliding shower door which I despise, so I have a beautiful white eyelet shower curtain I put on the outside of that...... The linen closet is in the hall, so I have one of those white 3 tiered thingies over the back of the toilet where I keep extra hand towels and face cloths, and lotions, plus a clock and a really neat container for my Q-tips. the walls again are the apartment off white..... Never have a problem find rugs or towels for in there, as anything that is in the pastel line goes.......
My sister does beautiful art work, so I have some of her paintings on the kitchen walls and 2 butterfly water colors in the bathroom.
I feel my place is decorated in very good taste and very comfortable. I get compliments on it all the time...... Some of the other tenants that don't live in my building have stopped me and asked if I am the one that has that darling lamp in the window. And I am the only one in this building that has one there.....So, I tell them yes.
Have always love decorating.....and have been very successful in doing it.

Love it.My kitchen a U-shape, open to the dining room with just a peninsula separating them. I've light hickory cabinets with rubbed bronze hardware, with a light blue/cream corrian counter top. The backsplash is punched tin tiles.
LOVE tin ceilings! I have a friend who scored big time when she found a whole rooms worth of punched tin ceiling tiles from an old building demolotion project. They are gorgeous and her hubby did their kitchen and family room ceilings with them.
I love them, too! I've always wanted a pie safe with the punctured-hole tin panels in the front.
Oh, tansy, that's wonderful!

My dishwasher, microwave (built in), refrigerator and garbage disposal are stainless steel. My stove is copper and stainless steel.
I have green and light green wide stripped wallpaper in my kitchen. I recently noticed it looks exactly like Barefoot Contessas wallpaper and I have never noticed that before in all the years I had watched her. My friend actually pointed it out to me. I have huge cabinets that have a special paint job on it, I don't know you call it but it gives it an antiqued sort of look. Some have glass doors but only a couple of them, the ones that have glass fronts I put my good wine glasses and my nicer dinnerware. I have dark granite countertops and an island in the center of my kitchen. I have two chandeliers over my island and 4 barstools with it so you can eat at. I have a picture of my kitchen somewhere but it is before I put my stove in and my stove ( and burners) take up a good part of the island now.

Like Roughdraft, I have wall ovens and built in microwave. My stove top is in a large island and it has two deep cabinets and two book cases. The stove top has a down draft - no overhead hood.

It is called La Cornue. I have always wanted one of these. You can choose from designs and colors.

That sounds beautiful. I love copper. I saw that KitchenAide made a copper mixer too and I got that and gave my daughter my old one.
