Can't stand chocolate cover raisins.  I'm not sure if I ever liked them, even as a child.  If they come in an assortment, I've always picked them out and tossed them.

I find as I've gotten older I've lost my taste for chocolate, especially dark chocolate.  I'd much rather have something white or vanilla.

I agree with @jlkz about the "crown pullers" not to mention tooth breakers like Turkish Taffy, and I would add Mary Jane's.  And, like @AuntG I wouldn't choose those candy necklaces, but I certainly remember buying them and eating them while they were around my neck.

My favorite then is still my favorite now; licorice. Even now I'm awaiting an order of the licorice wheels from Amazon. I know they can be crown pullers, but I'm very careful (and I'm addicted Smiley Frustrated).

loved: slo-pokes, milk duds, zero candy bars, m n m's, Hershey bars, almond joy

Would happily eat any of those today

Although the first two would pull my crowns off

It was very rich and sweet, I remember that.  An elderly lady who was my neighbor several years ago made her own homemade Cherry Mash candy with the outer shell of chocolate and the inside filling was basically a cherry flavored frosting.

I like Charleston Chew. I do not care for marshmallow at all. But I will give this one exception.

Butterfingers...

Don't know what they did to them, but now they have a "chemical" taste to me - Oh, but how I used to love them, back in the day. ♥

ETA: I tried one a couple of years ago, and had to (literally) spit it out! Smiley Sad

@LavernLuvsShoes   They weren't my favorite, but they have changed...for the worse. The old ones used to harden  and spoil quicker. Now they last forever and the crunch isn't the same butterfinger used to crumble when bitten into longer shards now the crunch, crumb,e is harder.
