Re: What Are You Reading --- March 2014

Right now I'm reading "The Kept" by James Scott. Not even halfway through at this point, but I highly recommend it. The story pulled me in from the beginning.

I just looked up this book, The Kept. That is some review amazon has on it. If I can get through the first grisly part I think I would like it.

Just finished Made in the U.S.A by Billie Letts. I had The Snow Child on reserve at the Library and was 57 in the queue. Finally came in yesterday and can't wait to start reading it.

I loved the Billie Letts books I read years ago, and I really loved THE SNOW CHILD.

Re: What Are You Reading --- March 2014

Hi reading friends. Sorry I can't make paragraphs because of ipad. I finished JOYLAND by Stephen King and I have to say I was disappointed. I read 11/23/63 and I absolutely enjoyed it so I thought I would try JOYLAND. Not the same calibre IMO. I am now 1/3 through THE KEPT recommended by STACIESMOM which I am really enjoying. Finally, YELLOW CROCUS sounds a lot like THE KITCHEN HOUSE. Has anyone read both? Should I go there? Sounds very much like the same storyline. Happy reading everyone. Thanks for the continued recommendations. I am never at a loss for a good read thanks to all of you! LM

I finished The Goldfinch (loved it--found it completely enthralling) and The Interestings (Meg Wolitzer's best, in my opinion--wonderfully done).
