Onto Bittersweet by Colleen McCullough.
SWEET I'm reading Tell the Wolves I'm Home as we speak. I'm loving it, but I do want to smack Gretel for being so nasty!
I'm also reading Doctor Sleep, which I started reading yesterday as a sample on my computer. I got into it so I took it out from my e-library and loaded it on my Kindle. I read it for a while and then went back to Tell the Wolves I'm Home. I like it much more, plus I discovered that Doctor Sleep is another one of Stephen King's sagas at over 500 pages.
I finished Revival and I have to say, I just loved it. As I'd heard, the ending totally creeped me out. It reminded me of the classic Stephen King, and it's taking a while to get those last scenes out of my head.
I'm off to read now. Have sweet dreams everyone
Cool. Let me know how you enjoy it. BTW, it's GRETA.
She didn't bother me because she's her older sister and expected her to act that way. LOL. Not every sister is like her obviously but you know what I mean.

I just finished reading Falling from Horses by Molly Gloss. I waited for months to get this from the library. It was an enjoyable read about the stunt men (westerns) in the movie business in the late 1930's.

I just finished reading that one too! It was recommended by our public library staff. I was not familiar with Molly Gloss, but I am glad I gave it a go. A beautiful story, though sad in parts. The characters were so strong.

Flowers for Algernon, the novel by Daniel Keyes. It is very good. Glad I was warned to keep tissues nearby. I'm half-way through, hopefully I can finish it today.

Back to Relic. Re-reading the Pendergast series by Preston & Child with DD.

sfnative~I'm reading my first one (should I have started with his first book??) and it's called Blue Labyrinth. I am wondering something-how can two people write a book? I mean, do they do it chapter by chapter? Half the book one author, half the other? I just can't see how it's done. Unless the one guy gives the other guy plot ideas maybe? Very strange. I like the book so far, tho. This Pendergast-quite a character.

That is my husband's and son's favorite series. I've only read a couple so far.
Just started The Storied Life of AJ Fikry by Gabrielle Zevin. Story of a widower on an island off Massachusetts who runs an independent bookstore and whose life changes dramatically when a ""Mysterious package"" is left in his shop.
Each chapter is introduced by his critique of a book which hints at what's to come. I think any reader and lover of books would enjoy this.
