@Desert Lily. The weather in AZ will soon be a distant memory for you. Think about 109° next winter when you're driving through snow in your new home.

Hi @Kachina624 , I'm even further west than that and am baking in the heat with everybody else out here. I used to live in NY, upstate NY, and we had some huge snow storms there. I miss seeing green, and lilacs, and cardinals & blue jays, and autumn leaves, and even dandelions. But you're right; I can wait to be reacquainted with a snow shovel. Lol.

@Desert Lily Would you believe we had a high of 63° and drizzle most of the day today. in Albuquerque? Haven't had the AC on for 3 days. I'm wearing a sweater. Strangest thing I ever saw.
Bad flooding down in SE NM from too much rain. Pecos River overflowing at Carlsbad.

@Kachina624 I envy your temp. It was 106 yesterday. It was supposed to rain today, but it missed us. Maybe tomorrow. Enjoy the cool weather while you can.

It has now cleared off and is beautiful but very windy. My AC is OFF. More rain predicted for evening and every cool day this week. It is very rare for it to cool so much here this time of year but is a welcomed respite.
Strange how our weather here in the desert has flip-flopped with that of the Northern half of the country now experiencing extreme heat. It'll be back here too but we'll enjoy the cool while we can.
You're so lucky to have some cooler air. I'm miserable with the heat and humidity! Maybe we can catch a break soon too. The heat is much more bearable when it's not days upon days of the same temps @Kachina624 .

I don't think I could make it living in those temps @LuvmyLab . Do you at least get a nightly breeze?
