What 4-20 Means to Me

[ Edited ]

Not a date to be joked about, but one of those days, when you remember exactly where you were.  Twenty five years have passed.  These kids would have been adults succeeding in their chosen careers and raising their families if their lives weren't cut short by domestic terrorists. 🥺🥲

That was certainly a day when many lost their innocence, and so much more. A wake up call to some, while others are still sleeping.

Domestic Terrorists may be a stretch.

I was 11 when the Columbine shootings happened and I remember watching footage of this on the news that day.  Absolutely terrifying and truly heartbreaking. I pray for the families of the victims.

Not in my POV.  They were citizens within our borders and they thoughtfully planned their attack.

And, sadly, it still continues.

Not to pile on top of this tragedy, but yesterday was the 29th anniversary of the Oklahoma City bombing...hard to believe it'll be 30 years next year.

Take time every day to enjoy where you are without a need to fix it

My heart still hurts for these babies and teacher.  My heart hurts for all the babies and there parents that have been murdered while at school.  My son is a teacher now and some days are more difficult for me than others.
