 I grew up in the town where Wegmans started. My mom shopped there and now I do. I need a gluten free diet and Wegmans brand clearly marks their packages- gluten free, lactose free etc. . This is a huge help knowing I won't get sick when I eat their food! Their stores are the cleanest. Even the stock rooms are spotless. I was a merchendiser, so I saw alot, and Wegmans are the best.

@gidgetgh   I just read that Wegmans is NOT coming to Sandy Springs.  They have no idea how the rumor got started.  I am sooooo bummed.

I'm fortunate to be very close to Wegmans.  Best grocery store ever.  No other store comes close.  They're very responsive to customers.

My daughter would be very happy to see so many Wegman likers/lovers!  She's a Wegmans employee in NJ.

I would also like to add Wegmans is very good to their employees as well.  They are always doing some nice things for them.  As an example:  My daughter told me just today, they are having Thanksgiving dinner for all the employees and giving gift baskets away as prizes too.  

She enjoys working there very much..

There is very, very little I miss from my 16 years in PA but Wegmans is certainly at the top of the list.   Best grocery store anywhere.  I'm sure I'll be long gone before one makes it to Santa Fe.

I love Wegmans!  However I wish it was closer to me....there is one half an hour away in one direction and another half an hour away in another direction. 

Then there is another one about 40 minutes away where I meet up with an old friend several times a year....we get lunch & sit upstairs and talk for a long time.

OMG @haddon9 I do the same with 2 of my friends, we made a day of it at Wegmans.

I have to mention something no one has talked about here and that is that they also develope products. For example they have come up with "Pan Searing Flour" with sea salt and white pepper. This is good to lightly coat fish or meat when cooking because the flour is so fine. You can even find how to make this on Pinterest. They have something found in the frozen section for people who do not want to cook with cream or can not have dairy. It is made out of cauliflower, how healthy is that?
