Now everyone knows why in the past, QVC closed down the Forums for Christmas!!! I think it is a good idea to do so, and you won't have to worry about "cleaning up" the mess!!!
Best wishes for a Happy & Healthy New Year!!!

Since filthy graphics and curse words were used in the offensive posts yesterday, could there possibly be filters put into place next year so that this couldn't happen again? Since certain words can't be used anyway in the forums? Just a thought.

I so agree!
Plus, it's not just a case of feeding the trolls or not, what is on these boards is ALSO on QVC's website, for better or worse.

I thought there were filters, I tried to post the word t*t on a statement and it tossed it out.

Which begs the question - if certain words are filtered out of our posts automatically or supposedly not allowed to be posted, how did they get through from the troll in the first place?
Could it be that much of what we believe isn't allowed IS actually allowed? The only words I have seen blocked with ** is the one that rhymes with "tat", as in puddy and the nickname for Richard. One other time I used a word where the post was stopped and not posted. So if the troll was able to post something it isn't blocked, and maybe most things are 't blocked, they're just deleted when seen by posters and moderators.
