Re: Weight Watchers erroneous charges

[ Edited ]

@Jordan2  Whether the zero fee for Lifetime hits next year or in the next few years depends on the financial standing of WW. The organization is run differently in the UK due to NH and what is considered preventive care there vs here. I don't believe WW charges on a sliding scale in the US; it used to in the UK and is now free for the majority. Lifetime, therefore, is free as well. It comes down to the numbers crunched and if WW is losing on the free Lifetime members, then it's going to be eliminated. Personally, I think it's the DUMBEST idea ever from WW but, it's all about the bottom line. Look for additional changes in the next year one of which is already being tested in parts of the US:  leaders and those who weigh you in no longer have to have attained goal weight. The new WW is not about having lost the weight, it's about loving yourself at the size you are and being happy with yourself. Weight Loss is no longer the "goal" of joining WW.

My locations are part of the testing for this: it was part of why I left WW (along with many other reasons I've already mentioned).

They won't quit sending me emails when I've requested it many times over.  I just delete them now.

You must have got a bad rep, try again.

I was erroneously charged twice.  Once when I switched from an employee to a free lifer, and once when my credit card updated but I forgot to change it in my profile.

I've called and it's been fixed up with an apology and a thank you.

Try doing a live chat. Ask for a supervisor if necessary.
