Weekend trip with Hubby and Daughter before schools starts...ideas please

We are looking for a place to take our 7 yr old dd for a weekend trip before school starts.

Looking for suggestions...not Kings Island or fun parks. We will travel to TN, OH, IL, MI, KY for a fun weekend (no more than an 8hr drive preferred from Central Indiana). Thanks!!
