and to further go on about the topic..

 

Yes, my daughter would tell me and did how much they got as wedding gift..I don't randomly ask about their finances but she does confide things in me....and yes you can deposit in anybodys' bank account.

 

My son's deposited money in somebodys bank account recently when they were out of town and they ran short of cash...

 

You deposit checks by writing 'for deposit only...' as my mother did it for me a couple times as I was out of town for work.
