I did read a few of the posts.
I don't know...I am more of a "Live and Let Live" person. If I don't like a thread, I just skip it. It is just strange to me, the things that people get upset over.

I don't like the changes but unfortunately, it's QVC Board and they can do what they want. I'm just glad that I never had a boring job like the moderators have.
When your "thread/post" is moved, can you not find it by looking in your "Posts by Hayfield"? That is how I sometimes remind myself to return to a specific post, and/or thread. I've never had one " moved", but my short term memory is not what it used to be.
Do you know how to get to "posts by Hatfield"? Just asking!

The moderators don't sit and trawl all of the forums, looking at the title of every thread, to decide if they think it could be moved, and then move it on their own. No matter how many moderators there are, they don't have that kind of time, nor do they really care about moving them, I'm sure.
If threads are moved to a more appropriate forum, it's because someone asked that they be moved. Someone specifically contacted the moderators and said "please move this thread out of X and put it into Y." If a thread that could have been moved wasn't, it's because no one reported it. It's no more sinister than that. The moderators have said - if you think something should be moved, contact us - if we're not too busy or short-staffed, we'll move it. But I would think that's kind of low on their order of things to do. A better target for annoyance might be those who report such things - but you will most likely never know who that is.
You're telling us that posters on this forum have that kind of input? I highly doubt it.
I noticed in the fashion forum that most, if not all, of the LOGO threads have been moved to the LOGO subforum. I doubt that was done because one poster asked that it be done.
If we can just ask and receive, I have a few things I'm going to request. LOL

Actually, that is job of a moderator to sit and trawl the forums. If someone thinks a post is inappropriate they press the button and it gets sent to the moderators attention. Moving entire threads to different forums is at the moderators' discretion.

@Lipstickdiva You are wrong. It was done because of the following thread, as Mod Beth even acknowledges. If you had read this entire thread before posting, you'd have known that because I posted this already above:

It probably has more to do with what moderator is on duty. For the last few months almost all TV discussions and the majority of movie discussions have been moved to the entertainment forums. I noticed this because I sometimes participate in DWTS, Survivor, Project Runway and Downton Abbey discussions.
The fact that you can see the thread has been moved and not deleted makes it easy for you to find the thread and continue to read it if the topic is of interest to you.

if thread topics are to stay within Favorite Brand then the Folder should be show all the subfolders.
and the moderation should be even-handed then.
these forums are slow as it is . bareMinerals is nearly DOA (sorry) and one other Favorite Brand has a formidable following yet they stomp all over posters in the Beauty Board if they dare say anything remotely unfavorable about their Favorite Brand.

Hi, all====
I come to this forum daily. It has always been a general topic place, and I "know" most of the people. We have, in the past, always been able to discuss almost anything within the "guidelines". I rarely go to other forums.
Maybe the moderators could ease up on us a bit.

@muttmom True, but that only really works when they are still on page one. For those who don't read back many pages, they won't know where to look.
