@KKJ    I'd agree wholeheartedly.  The happiest sight I ever saw was Houston in my rearview mirror.  Won't even go back to visit friends.

Why people watch QVC?  I'd like to think they might need something, but I don't think that's the main reason.

One of the reasons is they like to shop.  Another, QVC hosts have become family.  They feel comfortable.  Then there are those who are addicted to QVC and others shopaholics.

Why don't I watch QVC much anymore?  Nothing interesting to listen to or buy.  Even their sets are drab.

I use it as a filler either between shows that I actually want to watch or when I am reading, I like a low noise so I will flip to the Q for that.

Tonight I became caught up with David and his home show, and I ended up purchasing The Little Giant Step ladder.

There are a few shows that I do enjoy watching. Shawn saves Christmas, and certain beauty shows.

Sometimes, I go days without turning it on at all.

@JoyFilled Warrior  - I'll have the Q on in the background when I'm not watching a specific show on another channel.  Sometimes I'll catch a beauty show or some fashion shows.

@Foxxee  I think some Posters watch so that they can have something to Post about and complain. I must say sometimes I enjoy reading what Posters have to say because it tells me I made the right choice not to watch. I can't believe some say it's all about the background noise.

My TV is usually on Gunsmoke, Andy Griffith and so on.

I shop though without watching.

@icezeus  "The little Giant step ladder" is still around? Is that the same one from many years ago? Is that the one a Host fell off of some time ago or was it   another ladder?

I love Gunsmoke. Matt in his younger days was hot, he spent too much time in the hot desert like temps and dust and sun. When he got older he let hisself go. Long hair and wrinkled up bad. Poor Ms. Kitty never got her man I guess.

I must say that once upon a time, QVC was so much fun. Nothing like today. They didn't even have to try anything to make you laugh. It just happen automatically and they laughed along with you.

From what I am reading from some of the Posters, it's not fun anymore. They are trying too hard.

@SharkE  they got it on for sure but we never saw it. Not fair.  Wasn't he really something? I loved his smile in the olden days.
