Scottie ~ My DH is a car fanatic....his baby, a 65' Ford Galaxie just came home yesterday after being at a shop since last Fall!!

When I was in high school, my dad bought a brand new 65 Ford Galaxie. It was blue-green and one big beautiful car. I learned to drive on a Falcon and was scared to death when I had to drive that car. My dad kept his cars pristine and did all the work on them. Fond memories.

Scottie- those crash tests were something else.

are we the same person? {#emotions_dlg.biggrin}

We had a blue green '65 Galaxie when I was in high school!

Wow! 7 mpg. Gas was cheap then. isn't the horsepower about 350?

Who else remembers gas at 29.9? LOL!

I was thinking it was 25 cents but maybe that's something my dad told me.

We moved to Az in 1995 and I remember gas was .99 for a little while. I remember being excited about it so it must have been unusual then. I know. Weird what I get excited about.
