I'm very tempted but my WM is only minutes away. Plus it's one of the few times I drive my car anywhere besides to medical/dental offices. Car needs exercise, too. LOL!

This is good to know. Thanks for this info @PickyPicky3,. I wouldn't have known.

I thought about it but the drawbacks for me are, I like to go now-it's good to get out and I want to get my own things.

And also I don't like the I think it's a  4 or 2? hour delivery time-more $ if within 1 hour. It's like having to make an appointment and I hate appointments.

It takes me a lot of time to order things online. I do it faster in the store.

And finally, there are tips. I think I'd spend a lot more than I do now because I would want to tip every time and it is expected as well.

My daughter has had free delivery for a year and she likes it.

But it is a great price and a good service.

Ok I've talked myself out of itWoman LOL

I tried it but my first grocery order was suppose to be here in the morning but was not delivered til late afternoon so I cancelled.

Wal-Mart here uses the Spark App to find drivers to deliver. They get paid by the tips customers pay.

Easier to pick up our order instead of wondering when it will be delivered.

For those looking for Sam's Club and Sam's Club Plus, Rakuten is offering 1/2 off  membership +10% cashback on the fees.

No experience with Sam's, not close to me.

@Nightowlz  I was told Spark handles deliveries here, too.

I decided to try it and found lots of small print about the home return program, which is a pilot program and may be discontinued at any time.

I had a trial Walmart+ membership a few months ago and liked it for grocery delivery for a short time. Sometimes, I just don't want to go out. I live in a 3rd floor condo in a 55+ senior community with 484 units. The first few deliveries were on time and left as I requested at my door. The drivers always sent me a picture of the door after the delivery.

The next few deliveries were left at other units in my complex. The photos I was sent did not match my address/location. I tried to find where they were left as not everyone has the same door type. Walmart also puts a large sticker on each bag with the customers name and address. I couldn't find my items and no neighbors returned my items.

While I did get refunds, I still had to go back out and re-shop for everything. Despite offering the option of signing for the delivery, I canceled the subscription. If someone will steal my items at their door, what will stop them from falsely signing my name?

Walmart needs a better system to ensure the correct address is used by the delivery person.

Walmart partners with Grub Hub everywhere and a lot of other delivery services, but that doesn't mean they will have enough drivers. I'm 6.1 from the Peru IL Supercenter and I've had orders stalled because of order back ups, so I end up going to get it myself.
Their answer, we don't have anyone to drive....or we are short drivers.

I ended up joining during the promo period. This morning I was shopping for a particular brand of coffee beans that I want to include with gift next Saturday. Normally I get them from Amazon, but the flavor I wanted wasn't available. Ordering from the brand website, the coffee was going to take too long to get here.  As a last resort, I checked Walmart.  They had exactly what I wanted and it will be here Tuesday. 👍

Hi  @PickyPicky3   Woman Happy

I newly have Amz Prime, and it's more of a Godsend than even I thought it would be, even if merely to have 24 packs of Water Bottles delivered! My body doesnt need that unnecessary stress of in person shopping, if I can fortunately afford it.

And still, when able, I'll try to shop in person, cause I love buying my usual items on sale.

By the time  I haul my tukku5 into the car, drive to the Grocery Store, walk around, shop, pay, load items into the car, drive home, haul the items from car, into the house, put them away, I'm whipped exhausted!  (and I hurt)  Something that at my age, if avoidable, is nice, maybe necessary!    It perhaps elongates the amt of time before I *must* put myself into Asst Living, (a close call, recently).

Is nice to avoid all that lugging, and merely order online, & merely putting away, is heavenly!  I had no idea how wonderful, til I tried it, at the encouragement of experienced ppl here on the Board.  THANK YOU  Y'ALL!!

After recently investing $3,000 in car repairs, due in large part because my car just sat there, I was advised that cars "need exercise" too, to keep the car juices flowing, just as @SilleeMee  suggested!  Go figure this abt a car.!

@PickyPicky3  & @Others

THANK YOU for offering this Info, & Details on the Walmart+! Seems like a great option also!  Woman Happy
