Starts Sun Nov 5th.
Clocks go back an hr. Sat night.

Here we go again, LOL! I think it's crazy that we still do this in our area but I guess we just have to roll with it. Gaining an hour makes for a long day.

I love having more light at the end of the day! I love summer when it's light until almost 9 p.m.!
I hate drab dark winter days!

Love that night and all that that implies. Bring on the darkness.

Doesn't affect me because I'm in Arizona and we don't partake in this nonsense. Last thing we need in summer is another hour of sunlight.

I do wish we could have Standard time all year long and in every state.
We are going back to Standard Time Saturday night so it is shorter days not longer.

And I wish DST would become the standard.

I'm just the opposite, I wish it would get darker earlier, all year long.
In the summer since it stays light so late we aren't able to sit out in our courtyard and enjoy our twinkly lights that we have strung all through the trees or our fire pit as much as we would if it were dark.
I like it during the fall too because it seems like the day just lasts forever and just because I like darkness in general. Cozy....

The first post confused me - so just to clarify for those that also do a double-take:

Isn't it standard time that begins on November 5th? I'm a morning person, so I'll be glad to see earlier daylight in the early hours. I don't mind the early dark in the evening. Besides, DST comes around soon enough.
