Does anyone here have Walmart+ ?   Gives benefits of free shipping always, free grocery delivery, gasoline discounts, etc.

Is this service worth the $98 annual cost?

Opinions?   Thank you.

@tototwo  It depends on each person.  For someone like me not worth it.  I really do not like Walmart and only order things like water, cereal and a few other things  because I order online over $35 so always free shipping.  I don't like their delivery as  they always substitute without asking and I have always had missing items when I did order with delivery.  It would not benefit me at all.

I have shopped Walmart online alot since March.  I have never paid shipping.  Any orders over $35 are free.  I always have a list going and when I hit that mark, I order.  Delivery is usually within a day or two.....never more than a week.  I don't care about gas discounts, so no, to me it wouldn't be worth it.

@Pook   I have never had a problem of receiving a substitution.  I have also never had missing items.  I did have a jar of olives leak.  I called CS and I had a new one the next day.

I like Walmart items and prices, I just hate the Walmart instore shopping experience.  That is why I shop online with them.  As far as my other groceries that I can't get online, such as produce and such, I shop Aldis, Wynn Dixie, or Publix.  I enjoy shopping instore.  I still do it.

@tototwo -

I think you can get by without that.

For 2 reasons.

You can order online with free shipping for $35 and over like @Pook

said.

Second, I have found that they are often out of things both online or only available for in store pick-up when ordering pick up so it is very difficult to get all you want in one order.

I usually have to try other stores as well if I really want something.

And yes, they substitute at the last minute.

But the nice thing is they will never charge you more than your original

selection even if they are substituting for a higher cost item.

Depends on how much you shop at Walmart.  I dont use Walmart much.  They are not a big presence here like in some other parts of the country.  The 2 stores near me don't have a full grocery selection anf no gas station, so this new plan doesn't interest me.

@Pook  The first order that I did with them had substitutions that I did not want.  I realized that there is a little box up in the right corner of the form that you can click on for no substitutions.  I rarely shop at Walmart, but before I started using Chewy and when Walmart actually had a decent selection of pet food, that is where I would go for pet food.  Now, it is Chewy for pet food and my local grocery for just about everything else.

Not worth it for me. I get most of my groceries from Walmart curbside pickup which is free. Reaching the $35 minimum for Walmart.com isn't difficult. Walmart gas too far away.

However, I did get a Walmart credit card. When I opened it there was a $50 statement credit and 5% rewards on any Walmart purchase made online good for one year. Absolutely worth it and it is run very well by Capital One.

@SXMGirl  I always chose no substitutions and it still happened.

@Pook  I only had that happen once on a particular product.  I actually checked the bags when they were brought out to the car.  What I have found is that younger workers who gather the grocery orders do not always know the dfiference in some items.  Even shopping at regular groceries before covid, I would pick up certain veggies and the younger people working the registers did not always know what the veggie was and had to ask me.  I probably was just like that when I was younger.
