I was reading they have cut their annual rate for SNAP, Medicaid and Social Security from $98 to $49 or $6.47 monthly. They have included Paramount + in this subscription service.

Could you please tell us a little more about this? Where did you read it? I understand that SNAP and Medicaid are low income benefits, but then you also said Social Security, which many of us receive - not tied to low income. When I went to Walmart's website, it just offers me $12.95/month or $98/year. I feel as if something's missing here.

Many companies are now offering discounts to SNAP/Medicaid/Social Security recipients. Nice break for those with a low income or fixed income. They deserve the extra help.

Thanks for the exact website address @PickyPicky3 . I think I'd feel better about this if it were set up to assist ALL seniors, not just low income.

@shoesnbags The $49 offer was available to anyone during Amazon Prime week as competition. There was a thread here about it. I signed up for the first time and so did others here.
Are they offering it to Social Security recipients? That's not low income.

I'm not a senior, but was able to sign up for that same $49 deal a few weeks ago when they had a promotion. I read it on here and I believe others signed up as well.

I signed up for the $49. offer week before last. It was a limited time offer for anybody. I got my first free grocery delivery last week when it was 102°. It was effortless, except for putting them away. What a relief.

@Kachina624 This is not a complaint! Just a story.
My first delivery order was a disaster. Apparently the store gave it to a driver, but it never arrived at my house. The store would not cancel the order because they could not locate it.
The next day I placed the same order with a different store and everything was fine. However, it took a week of calls to Walmart customer service to straighten out the first order charges to my credit card.
