I've ordered twice where I didn't get my order at all!!! Once was a weekend, another was a holiday. I won't make that mistake again. I signed up for Walmart plus when I broke my femur after I got home after 3 weeks in the hospital. I still didnt walk that great after coming home. I'm thankful I don't live alone.

Totally understand and the fewer people that handle it the better.

I bag my own groceries.

I so appreciated Wal-Mart during covid. I could order online and pick up in the designated parking lot area. I always tipped the people well.  I could my prescriptions, too. I don't use delivery but think it's a great service for busy people or people who don't want the store hassle.

@Kachina624  The thought of bone broth makes me queasy.

How do you order meat? chickens?

I don't want 40.00 steaks, roasts or big giant chickens

I don't understand if you want a Tbone do you pay for whatever they throw in the cart ?

I just want the thin cut Tbone. Should be less then 10

they can throw in cart whatever.

Glad I'm still hale and hearty and want to look at whole store, enjoy myself instead of sitting at home and not going out for nothing. I'd feel useless.

@Kachina624

I have a "bone" to pick with WM delivery.  I just haven't felt like the confrontation.  I know they will be super nice about it tho.  They have taken 3 items out of my "save for later" list, charged me for them and never delivered them.  And there have been more substitutions than normal.

I think most that find it necessary to have groceries delivered wished they had the ability to shop in the store. It's always nice to see what's new on the shelves.

For those with mobility issues, recent surgery, compromised immune systems, inability to deal with outside temperatures or air quality, or those without transportation can find it to be a Godsend.

I think a small degree of flexibility helps, and at times products can be closer to the expiration date than one might choose for themself. That's a drawback of not doing in store shopping.

I remember the days when there were Milkmen who delivered milk, eggs, and butter. Some places provided the little metal cooler receptacles for outside the door. We've almost come full circle.

@Etoile308 : Totally agree. I have a bad lower back, waiting cataract surgery, just evaluated for power wheel chair. Only time out for doctor appointments or test. Haven't been inside Walmart in almost two years. Previous comments about me: can't find her : bet she's at WM.

My Walmart+ is a Blessing. They quickly correct any problems for me. Sometimes not happy with produce and use Publix Instacart. Anything else for house available for free shipping or delivery from another WM in my area.

I use Grubhub  and Door Dash for meal delivery. Paying a lot for convenience and needed help. I really miss getting out, shopping and looking at everything. Telling younger people to save and prepare for your retirement and expenses: your toy list becomes expensive medical necessities. Travel while young and don't wait for retirement. Just stating the facts and very thankful and count all my Blessings. My Sam's Club delivery people are very helpful and bring my cases of bottle water inside for me. I give all my delivery people a good tip and on hot days always have something cold for them to drink.

@TheMemphisVette : Totally agree and thankful for everything that is available for delivery. I have Amazon prime but always check Walmart first for same day delivery and use express  delivery whenever I forget something and sad to admit happens a few times each month.
