That's so sad, Kachina. Drythe, thank you for providing more info. All we can do is hope the lives of zoo animals are as happy as their caregivers can make them. There is a wildlife refuge near me and another one I get info from, and I'm amazed at all the "enrichment activities" they do so the animals are amused, stimulated and have good treats.
