I don't know how to break this to some of you........but..........it DOES snow here, not often but it does..........about 15 years ago we got 3' of snow........it was referred to as the Storm of the Century......shut the whole town down........our mountains which are only 30 mins away get snow every winter............Tehachapi and Tejon are two of the areas that have a blizzard warning.....IF you're a Californian, you know that our water problem is HUGE.......if you're a Californian you know our water problem isn't solved by rain BUT by the snow pack......a blizzard is a HUGE blessing.........something all Californians should be thankful for, since most of the nations produce comes from this valley..........if some of you want to make a big deal out of this.............knock yourselves out......................................................raven

It probably won't be........well it's a sure thing it won't be, but we need that snow.......we need it really bad.......the lakes around here are the lowest I've ever seen and a few are just empty............................raven

We have rain on the way.........should hit us this evening and last for several days...............along with high winds...............last rain we had a few weeks ago was unusual like this one...............normally we get the bad winds, then the rain..............last time both hit at the same time and they are calling for that again..............gusts up to 80mph at the grapevine........I've already walked the yard to make sure that anything that could take flight has been put away..............I hate the rain, but we need it, so I won't complain lol..............................................raven

I believe ya, Raven. Let is snow....let it snow...let it snow!!!!! Brrrrrrrrrr..... Now I need a good cup of hot chocolate! Glad the farmers are getting some much needed water.
