Well, that's one chore done.  The bed looks so pretty.  Took me about 1 1/2 hours to get it done.....did rest in between.  Just took 2 Tylenol ES.....back is hurting me now.  But, it should let up in a little while.

When I did my own laundry, and did the sheets.....always folded them so neat that all I had to do was put the flat sheet in the middle with the fold crease there, and then unfold it.  That way I didn't have to handle it so many times.  Don't know where some folks have learned to fold sheets.....  As I said, I am a stickler when it comes to my bed.

It is still snowing.....but a lot of it is melting.  It has gotten pretty windy too.  Supposed to get up to about 35 this afternoon.....and then there will be some refreezing again tonight when the temp drops.  They were here this morning to plow the drive thru and the parking lot.  Yep, my car got plowed in.  Oh well, I'm not going to be going out any place.  Maybe when I do have to go out, it will all be melted.

Hope everyone has a wonderful afternoon.

It's been snowing here all day. Sure does look like a winter wonderland but I wish it would have waited until December.Glad I am retired and don"t have to drive, What is really bad is it's supposed to change to freezing rain later. Hate ice,always afraid of falling.Horrid to drive on especially as some people don't know how to drive on it and go too fast. Be safe everyone.

I'm looking out the window from my office and it started snowing not too long ago, it's sticking and coming down pretty hard.  If I can walk to the subway I'll be good to go home.

Not ready for this mess.....too early.

Re: WINTER ADVISORY WARNING

[ Edited ]

The kids went to school this morning, but were dismissed at 11:00.  As long as they go to school and out in a few hours, they will not have to make up the day.

It's been snowing since around 10 am...nonstop with flakes as big as saucers.  I am worried about my DH who had to drive to NYC from PA and back today.  I hope he gets home safe and doesn't get stuck in traffic.

View is from my family room window.

Indeed, winter has arrived early this year. We have been having Jan. temps in Nov. It is not pleasant, but luckily I don't have to be out much anymore.

@CANDLEQUEEN......That's not fair.

Our weather folks said it would start here last night at about 9:00, and it did.

The sun is out now, and a lot of it is melting......it has melted of the electric wires, but still a lot on the trees.  It looks to funny to look out at the trees that still have their leaves....and they are holding on to the snow.

@RetRN.....I don't ever remember when we have had snow this early.....and I've lived here since 1957.  Remember some Thanksgivings when it snowed.

Glad I don't have to be out too,
