I woke up to 6”-8” of snow this morning. It’s beautiful.

Its hard to tell how much we have, the wind is blowing pretty hard and it just blows it everywhere.

I love snow up to the point that I either have to shovel or take out the snow blower.

@Kachina624   Don’t be too envious yet. The lights began to flicker an hour ago, so have both fireplaces on to get the get the house toasty warm. If power goes out, we can close glass doors to one room and stay cozy.

@GCR18 Our smallest & oldest beagle got stranded on her ramp from doggie door. We had to shovel that off. It doesn’t snow that often so don’t own a blower. We did shovel a “potty trench” in the yard for emergencies & doggie door is now closed. Leash walking only!

Beautiful. Yup winter is certainly here for us. We've had snow on the ground for a month now and just the other day our lake finally froze over. Now it looks like a snow covered field from my front windows.

As a former NYC/NJ suburb resident, I always thought the first snow of the season was beautiful.  But it gets old pretty fast!!!
