did chores, got both walks in. It was overcast and coolish today, wind off ocean (east).

Hi to all,

Raining once again here...

Yesterday..i set my new chair up outside  and sat and enjoyed the sun for  a while as i knew rain would be back..and sure enough it has.

Oh yesterday..i had my neighbor's daughter come over and trimmed my dogs nails!

We kept our distance tho...her mom held my little dog  and i sat on my porch steps..they sat in my lawn chairs....when done neighbor handed me dog and i gave money for her daughter to her...i don't see the daughter often so i kept my distance from her!  Have a happy dog now!

We are still under lockdown.  Only grocery/pharmacys are open at this point.  I am about to go mad, some days it is a struggle!

Right now listening to tunes on Pandora.

Decided snack will be strawberry and blueberry shortcakes with fresh whipped cream.  A treat for us.  Fruit is washed, cream is whipped, and little dessert cups standing by.

DH has projects going on which is good for him; the base for our floor lamp broke yesterday-I lifted it to sweep and it broke into 3 pieces-and it was a heavy concrete-like material inside.

So that will be his next one-designing a new base.

I'd like to just get a new lamp instead..  LOL

I have lost a dear b/i/l,a dear ex sister/i/l  with a month  now

A message was posted by @loveschocolate  with permission from preds

now   our dear preds has hospice in today to set things up and she has been resting.

My heart is breaking and tears flowing.

Please keep preds in your prayers.

@cowboy sam  it's sad to read of another poster requiring hospice. I know they give exceptional care. Preds nickname is familiar but I don't follow the threads enough to know about her health issues. Wishing peace for her.
