hello all. It has been a while since I posted, So much has been going on and I have not been feeling well. It looks like things are looking up. my biopsy was negative, I had to call them after a month and a half. I have an appointment with my GI doc as I probably have an ulcer. I ended up in ER with a lot of pain.Just a nasty time.
It is hot hot hot here in lower Michigan. I hope and Pray that things get better for all.
@BunSnoop My heart goes out to you.I send you my sincere condolences.

Today was cool and overcast, so before the next round of heat arrives, I pushed the mower and used the string trimmer. I was outside for about 90 minutes. I would have liked to do more weeding, but the garden soil was too wet.

What is it about the people shopping at Costco??? I usually try to go in the a.m. when it's not as busy but I did not have a choice today - had to pick up rx.
It seems always as though everyone shopping there is in a mad rush. I feel sometimes like someone is going to run me down with their shopping cart! They act the way you would expect if the store was giving something away for free. Any other store I shop at everyone is very courteous, but at Costco is just seems different.
Do you notice it too????
I was going to do a small amount of shopping there, but I just said to myself I can't handle this. Now that I'm shopping just for myself I'm thinking I probably will not renew my membership when it expires in the spring. Do you have a membership at Costco if you live alone?
I live alone and have a Costco membership. I stop for gas once a week, so that is what I use it for the most. As for actually going in the store, I would say about every three months, I always jokingly say Costco is like Disneyland for adults. I tend to purchase things such as kitchen trash bags, TP, paper towels, laundry detergent, and such from them: allergy pills, paper plates, hand soap, and so many other things.
I also go into the store first thing in the morning if I need to shop to avoid the crowds as much as possible.

I had my MRI of my spine on Tuesday, and they told me that currently it would take about 31 days for the results. (OKAY).
I started Acupuncture this past Tuesday, which seems to have given me some relief. I was quickly hurtling towards a 10/10 for pain, and I would say that I am about a five now. I have another session scheduled for next week, and they also want me to see a chiropractor. (I am not sold on that idea yet).
I am doing my stretches that the "Spine Center" recommended three times a day. Using lidocaine patches when needed, and taking ibuprofen, since I don't want to take the muscle relaxers they prescribed.

@icezeus , I'm so sorry you're going through so much pain. I've been blessed with having back pain for only a very short time and it got resolved quickly by my receiving epidural injections.
However, for even the short time I experienced the pain, I was miserable so I understand what you must be going through. I hope the results from the MRI will provide the doctors with a treatment plan that can provide you with relief asap. Keeping you in my thoughts.

Another hot day here......
Washing a Christmas themed quilt: I'll take a look at it once it comes out of the dryer and decide whether I want to keep it or add it to the Veteran's pile.
Still Working on Paperwork: Had piles of paperwork in a pile "to be filed". I filed those today. I also made some new files for some paperwork.
Started Reading a Book: Nora Roberts' has a trilogy of books called "The Lost Bride Trilogy". I've purchased 2 of the 3 books. (The 3rd book comes out in November). I've read the first few chapters of the 1st book "Inheritance" and I'm enjoying it so far. I'll probably read a few more chapters later today.
Ironed a top: Meeting a friend for lunch tomorrow and needed to iron the top I plan on wearing.
Washed Bed Sheets: It's been past due and needed to get done.
I guess that's it so far. It's only about 10:30 a.m. here so I guess I've got quite a bit done so far today.
Have a good one - try to stay cool!

Great news on your biopsy @hellie jo.
I've never been inside a Costco @BunSnoop. I can see why it's a good deal for families, but it sounds way too hectic time for me.
We've had over two inches of rain, but it's soaking in nicely. I was able to get my flowers and vegetables weeded this morning. It's pretty humid out; I think we'll do some sightseeing this afternoon and check out how the farmer's fields are growing.
I like the dark blue version of Joan Rivers TSV shirt so I want it to sell out; that way I won't be tempted!
