@goldensrbest   I swear I need an AirTag for mine.  I misplace them a few times a week.  I added a bowl in my entryway.  Going in there every time I walk in the house.  Good luck.  I've left them in the door on occasion.  They should be in the house if you needed them for your front door.

Have you looked in the car? Or your front door lock? Purse?

@goldensrbest,

A lot of times when I'm coming in the door with things I'll carry my keys in my hand and put them anywhere while I'm unloading groceries or whatever.

So then, I start to look in places I've been in the house.

Also if you can try to remember where you had them last.

And don't just look in pockets but on the floor where your coat is or everywhere you walked and the sleeves of your coat, even caught in a bag you had, shopping or purse though I'm sure you looked in your purse if you were carrying one.

Just some things I do for the many times I don't know where in the heck are my keys! Wishing you luck to find them!

@goldensrbest

Question:

When you left the car with your groceries in tow, was your house door locked ?  If it was, the keys are either on the floor outside the door or IN your house.

Suggest you use a flashlight when you check your floors, even if it is daytime because the light will keep you focused.  When you move the light, keep it moving line by line....not jumping all over the place.  This ensures you have thoroughly checked the area the first time.

Let us know how you fare.

PS:  I found my DH's week ski pass while skiing in the Swiss Alps... be as methodical as you can.

Worst case, you have to have your house lock ( locks ) changed with several spare keys made....I would keep one pinned inside the zippered compartment of your purse.

Usually cars come with two fobs or keys....Call dealer if desperate but it may be expensive to replace.

Good Luck...Dear St. Anthony come around, something is lost and can't be found. ( prayer )

Check all your coats, pants, purses etc.

I just went through a search of my own the other day. I came home from shopping

and put my bags away and quick changed from my jeans into my sweatpants

and walked my dogs.

A day or two passed since I had driven my car and the next morning I was running

in circles looking my keys. I checked my coats, my purse, the car and my jeans I

had on that day. No luck. Still looking and wasting time, searching all kinds of

places. My daughter said to check my hamper as I usually lay my jeans over my

hamper and voila my jeans were thrown over the hamper and into the hamper under

some clothes my keys were. So aggravating.

The last time you had the keys, did you go shopping? Could the keys have slipped into one of the bags from the shopping trip?
