I don't have a single one. My electricity has gone off two hours in the 25 years I've lived here so it's not a problem. I rarely use a cell phone.

for those of you who dont live in areas prone to power outages, you are lucky! i remember one winter where our electric was out for 7 days! no heat, but thank goodness for lots of blankets and a gas water heater so that we could take hot showers!

I have a TracFone I only use in the car in case I have a flat or dead battery. I've only had to use it twice in 25 years. I charge the phone once a week.

I've lived in my house 40 years and the only time my power has gone out was when the electric company swapped out a transformer and they give you plenty of notice or someone doing construction (usually the city) accidentally cuts a power line. Our power lines are underground so no poles to go down.

I DO use a cell phone. A lot.

I’ve travelled a fair amount and pack several with me.

Our power does go off. We even had to evacuate last year for a wildfire. I have 2 in my emergency bags.
